November 27, 2007 Meeting Minutes

The meeting was called to order at 4:28 PM. In attendance were: Natalie Bartimac, Elsie Benitz, Desiree Butler, Kelli Houston, Gwendolyn Johnson, Shelly Kossoff, Rosemary Maladecki, Charlotte Moody, Ileia Mooney, Dolly Ramos, Denise Probst, and Mirrian Bryant.

The minutes from the October 23, 2007 meeting were approved as written.

Old Business:

SAC Bylaws Review

A review of our bylaws indicated one minor change necessary with regard to voting. An email copy of the bylaws will be sent to all SAC members.

School Effectiveness Survey

We reviewed the three surveys and made changes to some of the wording as deemed appropriate. Specific questions in the Student and Parent Surveys will not be changed as they relate directly to the School Improvement Plan. We discussed plans to administer the surveys online. We also discussed how events and activities are communicated and Denise asked for Communications to be placed on the January agenda.

Discuss School Improvement Plan/Funds

The discussion about the School Improvement Plan/Funds was tabled until the meeting in January 2008.

The next SAC meeting is scheduled for January 15, 2008 at 4:15 PM, as we will not be meeting in December.
